The standout performer of this year’s Championship is the Collection Carassia Blanc de Blancs Magnum 2017 Vintage

At this year’s World Champagne Championship (CSWWC 2023), three of our magnums won gold medals with outstanding judges’ scores: the Carassia Blanc de Blancs Magnum, the Carassia Classic Magnum and the first Long Maturation vintage, the Carassia Blanc de Blancs Magnum 2017 Vintage Collection.

The title of National Champion of Romania and the special Best in Class award for Best Sparkling Rose in Romania was awarded to Carassia Rose Magnum sparkling wine at the World Champagne and Sparkling Wine Championships (CSWWC) awards dinner in London.

Carassia Rosé Magnum won a Gold medal, while two Silver medals went to the Carassia Classic Brut and the first vintage edition sparkling wine in the history of the Carastelec Sparkling winery, which is yet to be released.

The Chairman’s Trophy, one of the four highest distinctions of The Champagne and Sparkling Wine World Championship (CSWWC), the title of National Champion of Romania, and four Best in Class awards. These are this years’ awards that Carassia sparkling wines have earned in London.

With three gold (Carassia Rosé, Carassia Blanc de Blancs Magnum and Carassia Classic Magnum) and one silver medal (Carassia Classic Brut), we achieved the best results so far at the Champagne and Sparkling Wine World Championship. Each of the four entries performed brilliantly. Following our white sparklings, the rosé one also entered the gold medalists ’elite club this year.

Carassia Classic and Carassia Blanc de Blancs won a silver medal at this year’s The Champagne and Sparkling Wine World Championship (CSWWC). It is a great pleasure for us that we have been continuously present on the award-winning list of this prestigious contest. All the awards and the trophies achieved so far proves that we managed to produce world-class sparkling wines every year.

The Decanter World Wine Awards (DWWA) is one of the most important international competition in the wine industry. In this years February, we sent for the first time our samples to the Decanter’s competition, a total of five wines.
